De Moverentis Pictoris

Current Mood/Status: Halfway wholly happy, halfway half decent
Currently Doing: Not A Lot
Song of the Day: Chicago, Sufjan Stevens

I've watched a lot of movies this past winter break, both in and out of theatres. Most notable were King Kong because everybody mentions it, Sin City because it's still an awesome movie, even at threeish in the ae em, Johnny Dangerously because there's more to it every time, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind because it's just flat out incredible.

However, I'm still a few movies short. See, there are a certain few movies that require my attention. Indeed, many movies that I've never seen but want to, but only a handful that are on my mind right at this moment--or recently, anyways. Well...first, because it's easiest to mention, is "The Fountain". See, it's directed by Darren Aronofsky. You know. The Darren Aronofsky. First movie, "Pi", about which I've probably written at least one paper. Later movie, "Requiem for a Dream", about which you've no doubt heard. Well, that lattermost I kind of want to watch again, if only because it's magnitude has started to fade, and because I simply can't recall the beginning or end. Well, "The Fountain" is some new movie that he's making for 2006. Should be good. Should be good...

Hmm. "The Chumscrubber". Seems kind of good. Only a third good reviews at Rotten Tomatoes, but that's not the end-all authority out there.

Also..."Donnie Darko". I've still not seen it. I think that I should sometime soon.

I have to go to dinner now. I'm going to post this and say that I may add more later, but I probably won't, since I almost never do.

Yay for Eternal Sunshine! ^.~

"Joely-- what if you stay this time?"
"I can't. There's no memory left."
"Well... come make up a goodbye, at least..."
