"and I think I'm gonna stick around/for a while so you're not alone"

Current Mood/Status: eyes burn; tired
Currently Doing: almost revising my latin poem
Song of the Day: Dead Leaves On The Dirty Ground, White Stripes

...alright, so i've been swimming again these past two days, and it's been reasonably nice. it's nice to do some physical work again, so that when i sleep, i think i may sleep heavier. mebbe my mind can recover a little more that way, eh? hah, all too likely...

but today i went to the girls' tennis match after swimming/piano. i'd been afraid that i'd miss it, what with it supposedly starting at 4:30 and with my piano lesson beginning at 5:15ish, but they ended up running really late, so i made it in time to watch betsy play. i saw kenzie, anna, and ellen play, too, among others; those three, though, are surprisingly good. actually, anna was about as good as i thought she would be, but ellen...was awesome. she killed the other player. well, i'd known that she often shut people out, but i actually saw her kill this other girl today, and it was pretty cool. choner and i also decided to whip out one of my multiple frisbees (that i always keep in my car, that is) to move around a little and stop freezing. needless to say, it worked out really well, and we ended up throwing the disc around for like an hour or something. after betsy finished with her (doubles, with tiffany something) match, she joined us, too. we had some good throws today, no less, and, even though i beat up my fingers a bit at the start when my hands were still really cold and my reflexes still sucked a whole lot (and i was out of practice, sorry for teh run-on sentence), i was able to get some pretty nice catches and throws in. taught betsy how to throw a few new ways, too, and she picked them up pretty well, especially for never having tried them before. meh. marvin's, afterwards, too, of course.

lesse, what else is up. uhh...finished virtually all of my homework yesterday/today in class--all i've left is the revision of my latin poem, which i'd said i could finish by midnightish, but...well...we'll see about that. so imma go, then, and do that, cutting this post a little shorter than i should. meh. later.

"I didn't feel so bad till the sun went down
then I come home
no one to wrap my arms around"
