left of west and coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck.
Current Mood/Status: great, but that's not much compared to other adjectives that i could conjure.
Currently Doing: killing time ("when you should be dreaming"--foot soldierz, electrasy. and remember, i'm not the one who titled the song, but it's a good one.)
Song of the Day: It's The End Of The World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine), R.E.M.
so...i've decided to try to be a little more proactive and optimistic for the rest of the summer, but i totally won't have the energy once depauw starts, so it probably won't last for long. methinks i'm really a cynic deep down inside, but i can put on a believable facade (even for myself) of positivity on the outside. right now, that's a good thing, probably.
yesterday, though...was great. mark, mark, and i wer all wearing less-than-full-length pants and red shirts, and methinks it must have been great to see the three of us walking into the movie theatre, best buy, barne's and noble (notable for it's peacefulness), and, definitely, steak and shake. hah...it was tons of fun, though. somehow, dinner was probably the best part. lots of laughing (but that didn't stop often or for long), pwnage, and general good fun. oh, and there was definitely a tv set up with free ddr (on a cheap pad, of course) at best buy...so mark and i each tried a song, and i predicted that both of us would fail, and i was right. the timing, by the way, is different between the konami ddr's and in the groove...and i still prefer the latter.
uhh...oh, so the fair. equals frisbee, for the time being. like...that's all i've done there besides eating. well...of course i've walked around a few brief times, finding people, avoiding them, whatever, but the frisbee has the power to help with that. and so...emily tier (spelling on the last name? that's how it's pronounced, anyways.) is cool, but i really have no idea what her story is--like, how old she is (looks to be my age or no more than two years younger...), what grade she's entering, what school she's attending (though she used to be in greencastle, a time ago), who all these people with whom she hangs out are...etc. but...whatever. character flaw? *she doesn't understand the meaning of "woo."!* (hah, sweet, four distinct, non-text characters in a row!) like, we'll be standing around or whatever, and somebody fails or says something stupid, offers a poor suggestion with no follow-up from anybody, something like that, and i look around and yell, "woo!" while jumping briefly with my arms in the air, and she asks me "what?"...auugh. disappointing. well...if she doesn't catch on soon, as i told reggie a brief time ago, i'm afraid i may start unconsciously making fun of her...but i'll try to stay decent and nice, because she is. but for her overprotective parents; that's not nice, but there's not a whole lot that we can do about that. ah, well.
and now...to do something else.
