I (this post) suck, reprise
What the heck, I don't want to have to worry about this, so I'll just say a bit of stuff here and how, then post it. First, thanks for the insights, Jane and Karen. I know that I am trying a lot harder than I probably should right now, but seriously, everything'll be REALLY different in college--after all, I won't have to worry about getting in anymore! Yeah...once this semester is over, I'll probably be so relaxed that I'll totally fall to pieces. Wait...uhh...well, you know; everything will be unsettlingly beautiful.
Quick note: Petey had some REALLY good timing tonight when he called me; I definitely needed a break and to chat for a bit. Thanks.
Well, out of laze (that I'm loath to proofread and go through the rest of this), here it is:
(Originally saved at 11:33 last night)
So...I think that I'll just save this as a draft or whatever and actually finish it some other time and respond to my comments, because they're definitely of significantly higher quality than I'd thought they'd be.
Anyways, the purpose of this post is to add to the previous one a few more things that I forgot. Here goes:
The fact that Betsy and I catch both ourselves and eachother on, and further joke about, grammar things such as our prepositions and redundancy (e.g. "P.I.N. number") makes me feel much, much less worse about being in Indiana and very, very happy.
It's pretty much the worst feeling in the world when you finish another really bad day and you're so glad that it's finally Friday and you have the weekend off, then you realize that it's actually just Monday and you've a long week of suckiness in front of you.
Somehow, just having the thought of my piano lessons and upcoming recitals stresses me a lot more than, say, any few sporting events together.
When I came across the word "allantois" in the ACT this morning, I automatically thought that I should throw it into the Google toolbar to find more information on it and be able to search for and highlight the term easily wherever it appeared in the document.
Nothing, in fact, is sacred.
12.14.04 has some of the best explodingdogs, even though it's probably the gloomiest set the guy's posted.
The College Board's website REALLY blows. That's not new, but it's reinforced by the fact that every time you enter input in a for PROFILE financial aid stuff, it HAS to refresh the entire page. (Actually, it's pretty good everywhere else, especially in the organization of the forms.)
How's "Jay" for a "preferred name" of mine? Because, you know, "Augustus" has way too many syllables and "Gus" is way too boring. And other reasons, of course, which I may detail at another time.

1 Comments:
As I said before, Jay is out. Seriously. Be more creative, it's a lot more fun if you are :D I came up with another name a minute ago, but it's really odd and you'd probably say "no" to it anyway because it has many many many syllables....more than agustus. And sounds WAY more formal.
