Portraits of General Apathy and Major Boredom, Singing...
Current Mood/Status: See above
Currently Doing: Application stuff
Song of the Day: Nowhere Fast, Incubus
First, about that music thing...I remembered that Incubus is really, really awesome again this morning, so I actually played a CD for the first time in ages--Make Yourself, of course. But, for no real reason aside from enjoyability, I've been listening to Shout Out Louds, Mew, and James Blunt when in front of the glowing screen recently. I'm sure that that's important to you, too.
...So I decided not to worry about sleep or anything until next Friday, when I'm going to finish school, swim that half day, maybe go out, but definitely make it back home by, say, eight, then crash until the SAT Saturday morning. At least, that seems the best plan for my future, though certainly not at all near.
Well, now...three interesting things happening around DePauw this upcoming week. Let's go with chronology and pasted (with a bit of formatting) from my DPU weekly event notifier email thing:

DePauw Cappella will be performing a concert this Friday October 28th at 8:00pm in Thompson Recital Hall in the Performing Arts Center. Straight No Chaser, a men's acappella group from Indiana University, has been invited to perform. DePauw Cappella will open the show with SNC following. Admission is free, so come out for some great music.
Sunday, October 30
3:00 pm: "Measure for Measure: Shakespeare-inspired Music for Orchestra" DePauw Symphony Orchestra - Orcenith Smith, director; KresgeMonday, October 31
7:30 pm: "Shakespeare's England" - Steven Rickards, countertenor, Dorothy Linell, lute, Gigi Fenlon and Caroline Good, readers; Thompson Recital Hall
...And how fitting that last one is, that it is on Halloween. Or...something like that, anyways. Meh. And now that I've written about it, I can close that tab (well...actually, it's a window, because Tigermail, unfortunately, works better like that)!
