...has been, is, and will suck.

So...Ben Davis this evening (because varsity boys started at 6:30). Means JV got last place (of twelve or thirteen) and varsity got third to last (of about fifteen), but only because Andy got second. The course...was rather uncool, with two effing huge loops around a few of their fields/baseball fields, a small wooded area, and their school's driving range (where we scavenged ourselves a golf ball). Uhh...there was one stretch that was almost a kilometer just straight, and another that was easily half of one. I wasn't too happy about that. I definitely didn't try, but had some fun, such as chatting with another slow guy briefly at the start (shortly before out-pacing him), when Johnny and others cheered, pointing to my empty side (the only people being some fifty meters ahead and forty behind) and yelling, "I'm using this guy!" and enjoying people that walked on the course because they thought that the runners were through--that is, first, when some official on a loudspeaker yelled at them and a group of people jumped to get out of my way, I laughed, and later, a group of girls was doing a cooldown or something on the course in the opposite direction relative to me, and so I ran by yelling, "Oh noooooooooooo...!"

And, of course, I brought my disc, and we discovered that Harrison plays Ultimate every Sunday. And they're good. We only got a chance to toss the disc around, no game (actually, lots of tossing, though), but they had this one kid who could throw almost as well as I can. Unfortunately, he takes a good amount of windup, especially on his forehand. Meh. Very cool, though. He and I had a sort of thing going where we kept doing different throws to eachother. He and his team were highly impressed by the quasi-push-pass, and they seemed to like my hammer and scoober, but they'd seen everything else. Good stuff.

Rally's for dinner with the team on the way back after giving Mr. Schimpf an extraordinarily hard time and not getting our Steak And Shake. That kinda sucked, but there's not a lot that we could do about that. Got home at 9:40ish. And now I'm going back to my homework.

I can't BELIEVE that it's only Tuesday...
